The : Re:animation - Rave in Shinjuku Kabuki-Cho - Great Eastern Japan Restoration Aid/Kabuki-Cho Renaissance was held on July 17, 2011 (Sun) at the CineCity Plaza. The event was held under absolutely cloudless clear skies, and in spite of the severe heat, it was attended by a huge crowd of visitors
At the event, not only animation films, but also all sorts of sounds filled the air, including Japanese enka, techno, Western, and rock music. Thanks to the greatly varied selection of songs, shouts of joy were raised from the audience floor space. During the process of the event, dancers gave brilliant performances on the stage, attracting the delighted gaze of the visitors. As a final result, the enthusiastic efforts of the DJs, the staff, and more than anything else, the visitors to "enjoy the event and make it a success!!" contributed to its "overwhelming success." When the final DJ took over, the words shouted from the stage brought the audience on the floor to a very high level of tension.
"Do you like animation? Do you like having a noisy good time? Do you like Shinjuku? I love all of these things too?!!"
